Management of alcohol-associated hepatitis INTRODUCTION Liver disease related to harmful alcohol use ranges from acute liver inflammation (ie, alcohol-associated hepatitis) to chronic diseases including steatosis alone (fatty changes), advanced fibrosis, and ultimately cirrhosis.
