It is like a wave trying to be the ocean. This is why ‘I’ have continually hit a wall in my non-dual inquiries and exploration of Jung’s understandings. The supposed central agent that feels like ‘me’ is a psycho-physical complex made up of nervous system patterning. The timeless and great organizing force that is wholeness itself cannot be reached by this complex. From what I understand, only by a humble submission of our helpless intellect and stories can we allow space for our innermost light to shine. This is not to say we walk around empty, but having one foot in the ocean can give a compassionate context to the often painful content of our experience. This felt context will naturally creep into
