I saw a line in a Substack post this morning that went, “My Dad gave me a piece of advice then: he said that he felt strongly that you can never know who the love of your life is until you’re much older” and that distressed me. But then I saw a tweet on my timeline that went: “Sometimes I think I love too many things and people and it stresses me out because how does one maintain all of it?
