From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Navel-gazing is the contemplation of one's navel as an aid to meditation.[1] The word omphaloskepsis derives from the Ancient Greek words ὀμφᾰλός (omphalós, lit. 'navel') and σκέψῐς (sképsis, lit.
