Surprisingly, the answer is not "be good at philosophy"
Here’s your problem: you’re a fallible human, but you really want to be a good person, or at least if that’s not attainable, you don’t want to be doing things that are catastrophically evil. And this is going to be hard, because in history we see plenty of examples of people, people who say they want to be good, who did things that are catastrophically evil without a second thought.
