Awe, Receptivity, and Photography
This year, the winter has been acute and aggressive in San Francisco. 35mph winds have blown through the city, with repeated “atmospheric rivers” of rain and sprinklings of snow (!) falling around the Bay Area. The winter pulls us indoors, into our homes and into our own minds. It’s a time of huddling and hunkering and hygge. This season, I have been thinking about how to get outdoors of my mind.
