2024 in retrospect

welcome to a very long-winded post about 2024. thank you all for being here along the way. this is a love letter to and for you all <3 it’s december, already, the winter chill sinking bone-deep. the nights are longer and the days shorter; the slice of my bedroom wall that used to glow golden at sunrise remains blank at daybreak. the clouds over sutro roll in heavy and dark, but the streets are all aglow in their wake; green and red fairy lights wink from windowsills, while inflatable santas and reindeers preen from rooftops and awnings. christmas trees softly aglow peek out from behind…
