Apple Says To Embrace the Glass 🪟
They might have fumbled Apple Intelligence (more like Apple Idiocy am I right?!), but the new design overhaul for Apple OS is a work of art. Or total dog shit. I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder? I, for one, enjoy the “All Glass” look. Contrast be damned! Sure, legibility might be an afterthought and my retinas might be at risk—but aesthetics sometimes demand sacrifice. The frosted transparency, delicate reflections, and hyper-minimalism feel like the software equivalent of Apple’s iconic product design finally showing up fashionably late to the OS party. Of course, design Twitter immediately erupted. “Who asked for this?!” screamed half the internet. “It’s about time!” said the other half. Never underestimate the chaos potential when Cupertino decides to rock the visual boat. If nothing else, WWDC 2025 reminded us Apple still knows how to provoke passionate, irrational debates about things like menu bars and drop shadows. And honestly, it’s kind of refreshing.
