Nothing was optimal : I wasn’t particularly productive, didn’t feel particularly smart or confident, didn’t look particularly good, didn’t learn anything groundbreaking in my classes, didn’t pay complete attention to them, didn’t get as much exercise as I probably needed, didn’t eat particularly well, didn’t have a clear road ahead in terms of what work I needed to do… nothing was exactly how it should have been. But somehow, I was unusually happy — unusually satisfied —
