What they don't teach you in Freelancing School Aug 26, 2025 I have so many talented friends who are horrible at pitching themselves and getting paid for their skills. I often take these friends out and say something like “You’re good at what you do, and if you marketed yourself well, you’d be less broke. Can I help you do that?” A lot of talented people are stopped from contributing to the world because they have hangups or lack knowledge about money, marketing 1 , or negotiating. I think the world is a better place when capable people speak up for themselves, find work, and get paid well. I
