I put on some old cartoons that I've seen a million times before, nothing interesting or stimulating. The cartoons keep my own obtrusive mental thoughts from spiraling out of control, the boredom & comfort of seeing something for the millionth time lulls me into sweet sweet sleep. Of course, sleep doesn't last long when you have insomnia. So I'll sleep for one-three hours in front of the TV, and then when I wake up, I go into a different room and sleep there for a while. If I wake up from that sleep, I'll go into another room and sleep there. It's more like a succession of naps but I feel much more well-rested now a days than when I did stay in bed and j
