I think some things are most beautiful precisely because they’re incomplete. Not broken, not abandoned, just paused mid-breath, the ending unwritten. I only have two weeks left in the bay now, and this summer has felt like a season of half-built things. My laptop is scattered with branches named new-idea-v2 or fix-final-final, each one holding a thought that stopped mid-sentence. Some are half-tested systems I haven’t had the time to debug. Others are small bursts - code written at 2 am, the window open to the cool air, the faint scent of wildflowers drifting in from the backyard garden. Beyond the screen, I’m surrounded by the unfinished. Random snippets on my notes app with learnings from this summer.
