It’s past midnight, and my laptop screen glows against the dark. Twenty-six tabs bloom across the top like restless thoughts: a research paper I skimmed but never finished, a GitHub branch left dangling mid-debug, a map of a trail I might hike next weekend. Each tab hums with unfinished business. I close none of them. Instead, I just let them sit, like ghosts waiting for me to return. My desktop tells its own story. Screenshots named Untitled 4, Untitled 5, and so on. Each one a frozen moment, captured with urgency, forgotten with equal speed.
