1. Split Ego States These refer to internal conflicts or opposing voices/desires within oneself. For example, having one part that wants to relax and another part that feels you should be productive. The approach here is to integrate these split parts into a healthy whole. This refers to inner conflicts and divisions where different parts of us want different things. The intervention here is an integration technique like Internal Family Systems to harmonize the divided parts. 2. Projections This refers to disowning parts of ourselves and projecting them outwards onto others or the external world. For example, feeling powerless and projecting power onto authority figures. The approach is to re-own these projections and bring that aspect back into ourselves. This refers to our own inner distortions that we project outward onto the external world. The intervention is an "owning" technique where we re-own and re-integrate those projections within ourselves first. 3. Interjections These a
