feeling our positive emotions just as strongly as our negative emotions.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s Substack“If there is any sin against life, it consists not so much in despairing of life as in hoping for another life and in eluding the implacable grandeur of this life,”
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackBut I digress, if we, as a society, became more vulnerable, less judgmental, less divided — I think we could all live to the point of tears.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackYes, there are cases where it may hurt, but I think the experiences where it doesn’t hurt are more prominent than we may think.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackWhy do we love so much around us even when the world isn’t loving us back? Because if I’m not loving the beauty of the world, the people around me, the experiences, what am I doing?
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s Substackkissing someone I’ve wanted to kiss for some time now
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackBeing vulnerable, especially as a young adult guy, is relatively frowned upon by society. Men are supposed to be strong, stoic (for lack of a better word), and aloof.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackI hung out with people I genuinely care for. I had interactions with people who I might see again or who I won’t ever lay my eyes on again. Maybe I cried because of the bittersweetness of it. A beautiful night ending. A night that I will never relive exactly as it was, but then again, that’s the beauty of life.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackTo feel the emotion of a heavy defeat.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackThe general idea, in my opinion, is to live life so fully that you could cry at the end of your night because of the unintended and intense emotions we felt, the things we see or hear, and the people we surround ourselves with.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackI took of a friend while he was inebriated
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackHe wanted us to romanticize our lives, even if it was, a miniscule romanticization of it.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackWe all come into this world crying, and many leave this world the same way.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackI think the more plausible interpretation of this statement is that we should live our lives so fully that we are constantly moved by the uniqueness of it. Let things move you. Let people into your life. Give into urges. Love everything you can. To be insanely cliché, live everyday as it was your last.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s SubstackThat’s just a way for nihilists to cope with not believing in anything. Sorry nihilists of the world.
Live to the point of tears - tmaule7’s Substackyou become addicted to video games because you want to replace your reality with a different one, but the different one is ersatz, and somewhere deep the pointlessness of it all is felt, pixel by pixel. So what to do?
Video! Game! Addiction! - by Erik HoelChalmers has this belief because to him reality is nothing more than just the most-detailed simulation, the one that contains all the other ones—the largest Russian doll.
Video! Game! Addiction! - by Erik HoelAs we spend more and more time in virtual worlds, we’ll have to grapple with the issue of whether life there is fully meaningful. . .

Video! Game! Addiction! - by Erik HoelFor the challenge of living in this age is that we must do the boring and unexciting thing of learning how to deal with the superstimuli around us.
Video! Game! Addiction! - by Erik Hoelhow women approach gaming both personally and at a cultural-level, is often different.
Video! Game! Addiction! - by Erik HoelIn fact, it must seem sociopathic—to be gaming during a meeting wherein billions are at stake.

“You want to look at vaginas all day?!”I largely view this as a reflection of our healthcare system and the mechanisms that have gone into the makings of such a broken system
“You want to look at vaginas all day?!”Women truly do evolve as they physically go through the cycle of life in all stages and to be a gynecologist means to witness such life-altering events.
