I stole this from Camus, but I am essentially going to go on a tangent about what it means to live to the point of tears

So, first of all, the translation is slightly incorrect. In French, “Vivre à pleurer.” directly translates to “live to cry” which I don’t know if it ruins the quote or makes it better. But we’re going with the Anglicized version of the quote, “live to the point of tears” from his Notebooks, not for any real reason other than that I want to. To add on to this, Camus was an absurdist thinker who believed that there was no inherent meaning to our lives, but that human lives have worth.
