Everything is funny. Sadness, suddenly beautiful. To let it happen without fear of hurt. Is this just happiness in action? The thrill of creating. Precious ideas un-wasted, all expressed, breathing in and out, in and out, again, and again, and again.

we hurt ourselves, find ourselves, finally find the mercy to feel sorry for ourselves, to eat ice cream on an October day, tea and toast in the morning when a string of sun sprouts into the window just right, a funny video sent by a friend because they couldn’t say “I love you” out loud.

Everything is all right. I am grateful for my little miracles. Tomorrow I won’t be anything. My job is simply to sit at my desk and start, to open up another box, and leave Kansas all over again.

Don’t dwell on the dream too long. Don’t dwell on what you don’t have. Dwell on what you have and take action towards what you don’t.

Instead of being a writer, I just wrote. Instead of being a filmmaker, I made a movie.

It was 2020 and the plan was to download this app called TikTok and make videos for a year and by the end of that year, I’d have a portfolio to get a job at an ad agency. That was the plan. What actually happened was what I always wanted to happen most my life. About six months into filming two to three videos a day, suddenly I was a writer. I wrote and made internet short films for a living. I got representation at WME, calls from production companies wanting scripts, and a willing publisher for my book. Had I known I was six-months of locking-in from changing my life, well hell, I would have…

When I was younger I constantly read self-help books about the good life. I didn’t do anything for years and life didn’t get good. The high of reading the books was enough.

It is sad because it is filled with people who were once told they had so much potential. And because the weather is pleasant, they stayed in that state of potential forever and one day woke up and they weren’t twenty anymore—nor thirty, nor forty, nor fifty. It is a city of people high on potential where everything is always about to happen.

the percent similarity is a nonevolutionary-based distance metric; it fails to take into account that multiple substitutions can occur at the same site.

An important AI application is to assist clinicians for image preparation and planning tasks for radiotherapy cancer treatment. Currently, segmentation of the images is time consuming and laborious task, performed manually by an oncologist using specially designed software to draw contours around the regions of interest. The AI-based InnerEye open-source technology can cut this preparation time for head and neck, and prostate cancer by up to 90%, meaning that waiting times for starting potentially life-saving radiotherapy treatment can be dramatically reduced (Fig 2).46,47

Search of my mind has help me realize cause of my sufferings and pain to be my own thoughts. I no more look for reason for my pain to be outside of me. Search of my mind has helped me realize I am free to create my world either of pain or joy. I have realized my freedom and ability to remain empowered through adversities of life. Search of my mind has built my faith in SGGS as it provided me guidance through real life situations in all avenues of my life.

If gyan (knowledge) is seed, than Karma (action) is flower and realizing (understanding) that essence of mind is the fruit. This fruit is Ananda (Bliss, aliveness) or jot, emanating from cessation of all sufferings, in oneness. This fruit frees one of all bondages bringing about aliveness.

When external actors target Sikh emotions, they often exploit internal divisions — Khalistani vs mainstream, diaspora vs homeland, etc. Strategic unity, rooted in shared values and Panthic goals, is the best defence against such manipulation.
