preface: I started writing this post in may trying to ‘summarize’ my semester, didn’t work out, and I’m deciding to write it now that it’s july — i’ve been writing this same article since may! I wanted to write about the semester and the summer at large, and all the fun things we did. In summary, I went to two prides, to Boston for the first time in memory, watched things, went on linkedin, started a desk job, quit a desk job, learned to cook, barely thought, barely worked, barely read, barely wrote, but aghast everyday at how things can still move in preparation. I wanted a quiet summer for myself. I wanted a summer in which nothing mattered yet, and I am just a girl with a name in a crowd, under the sun, afraid to tan. I also learned to make friends in spite of myself, and learned to come to terms with how my intellectual-ness comes in bursts (managing my ADHD since I actually got a diagnosis last semester). I was determined to write in my diary everyday, but like always I only wrote
