Last summer, I had lunch with a couple friends who were in similar “in between” life phases at the chicken rice shop near Washington Square Park. It’s a small shop with only a few tables and short stools, a downtown weekday power lunch spot fitting for three people who were outside the confines of a 9-5 job.
