this was originally written on the 7th of January 2026, and I only recently founds the words to return to it and courage to publish it today. I watched a film (Eternity) recently where a woman dies, goes to heaven, and has to choose between two lovers—the one who made her feel fire, and the one she built a life with. It made me think about what we're actually choosing when we choose someone. It made me wonder — what are we actually choosing when we choose someone? Casual relationships have genuinely warped how we connect. Everyone’s hurt from something, and hurt people inevitably hurt…
