In some conversations I build bridges. In others I don’t. I realized this only recently, and want to trace out this dichotomy together. This is on my mind, because I’ve been thinking of friendships & relationships. I’m friends with a lot of people! I can’t say the same about relationships. And sure, leaving aside the logistical details of trying to date all of my friends, all at once, part of the difference here, lies in how I’m approaching these interactions.
