In Limbo - RAWFILES
One of my favourite strange sensations is the feeling of being completely alone in a public place. Perhaps due to my irregular sleep schedules and irreparable sense of direction, I often find myself in that particular context: surrounded by empty chairs, empty vehicles, and empty streets which are conspicuous by their lack of human occupation. In these situations, my first thought (which I often voice aloud) is “There’s nobody here!” Of course, the lack of people in any given place isn’t necessarily interesting; you wouldn’t catch me shouting “There’s nobody here!” in the middle of the Sahara desert or in the back alley behind an H-Mart. What interests me about the places in these photos is that they are usually bustling with activity, whether it be children at a playground, commuters at a bus loop, or seniors lounging in a park.
