Look, I get it. I mean, with everything that’s going on, most of us (the normal ones) are looking more and more insane by the day. The job market is in shambles, the government hates us, the world is melting, people we once admired support genocide, everything is more expensive, your ex is thriving (he’s white so of course he is), your car’s check engine light just turned on, and once in a while you run into someone you went to high school with, somehow managing to be the worst thing to ever happen to you. So, how does one stay sane, or at least, the closest thing to it? There’s a universal moment when one realizes, “Shit. This is the rest of my life.” It’s the repetition of waking up every day and, if you’re lucky, going to a job that you hate. It’s coming home exhausted and wanting to pursue your passions, but suddenly feeling apathetic to even the biggest joys in your life.
