How do we cherish and cultivate creativity and humanity when systems of labor, technology, and geopolitics are becoming more complex?
I keep on thinking about what is going on around me and in the world through the lens of creativity: the passion and the labor behind it, and the ways in which it is discovered, understood, and shared. Creativity as a human force, one that is being doubly supported and challenged, one that is arguably being commodified before our eyes. 2025 was, definitively, a year of AI slop (The New Yorker).
