Before Instagram, there was Flickr. The photo-sharing website was founded in 2004, prior to the widespread use of the cell phone camera. Originally intended for professional photographers, it became home to a wide range of amateur photography: moms photographing their kids, DIY fetish content, fashion bloggers, teens, and Alexa Chung fan pages. Unlike much of the Internet from 20 years ago, Flickr has remained unchanged.
