The US Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, just announced that the DoW will label Anthropic a supply chain risk for refusing to remove contract terms that prohibit the DoW from using their AI for domestic mass surveillance and lethal autonomous weapons. Yup, you read that right. Anthropic and the DoW had a contract that allowed for all legal use of the AI models that included prohibitions on the above two items.
