As a pre-adult, I think I’m in a pretty good state to tell you how to parent, now that you’ve crossed that threshold. But I’m sure you’ll be the judge of that. Firstly, let’s take a moment to show gratitude to our wonderful parents, that continue to fill us up with joy and love. We’ve had the privilege of growing up in a warm and kind household that served as beautiful soil for our growth. Even if it sometimes felt like a restrictive pot, relative to the growing spaces of many, we had a huge garden to explore ourselves and blossom freely and sweetly. This letter serves as a reflection and gratitude log for all that Mama and Papa have taught me about what it means to be a loving parent.
