after months and months of mental struggle and art block, i finally managed to make something i’m really happy with. i was afraid i wouldn’t be able to get this out before the end of june! you can just call the song “tell you” if you want to talk about it shorthand. so, “tell you” is about my perspective of bubbles and maud in what their relationship would look like, carrying over from CUTIEMARKS. the lyrics come from bubbles’ perspective exclusively. but the music itself is representative of how i feel they meld together. lyrically, i wanted the song to embody a lot of our feelings right…
