My experience of the AI Impact Summit in Delhi has been characterised by a bewildering gap: on one side, there’s the summit as a trade show, an admittedly energetic tech conference with a lack of depth that would have you think it might just as well be about anything else: the internet or solar panels1 or robot vacuum cleaners.
