Cop Car is a song from the soundtrack for The Turning and also not distinctly a love song. this is the only love song from any of her own albums and original concepts (i.e. unrelated to film soundtracks) where she seems to be making an explicit reference to one specific romantic relationship with another woman rather than just a general mention of having loved or had relationships with women. i thought it was an odd comment to make because if she had used "he" instead of "she" in the lyrics, there would be no question as to whether or not it was a love song dedicated to a man. i also…
