It’s the end of any “transition year”, and adulthood where I come from is defined as turning 18 anyways. At the same time, I will leave university, having completed a BA in English and a Master’s degree in Digital Humanities in Cambridge. Most of these essays were written during and immediately before a trip to the Edinburgh Fringe festival between the 15th and the 20th of August, 2024, although much of the groundwork was laid in the year before.
