sunset on iona beach with a very peaceful bird friend i turned 25 earlier this month. for the first time in my life, i feel my age! i think back to how i once felt world-weary and years beyond my age at 15, 18, 21. in hindsight, that was equal parts naïveté and hopelessness, caught somewhere between the denial of is this really it and the resignation of this is all there is. in the past couple years, i’ve changed and grown more than i could have anticipated, but i have also newly realized that there is so much i have yet to experience and discover. i am excited to continue walking down…
