I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Facebook AI Research (FAIR) working with Vikash Kumar and Mustafa Mukadam. My research goal is to enable dexterous robot manipulation in real world scenarios. I am interested in solutions at the intersection of multi-modal perception, reinforcement learning, and adaptive control. To that end, my past research has focused on occlusion robust perception based on fingertip embedded proximity sensors, and model predictive control of light-weight and low power hybrid actuated manipulators. I previously received a Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington, where I was advised by Siddhartha Srinivasa and Joshua Smith.
