Some thoughts about being a father.
Today my son, Alan Bolte, turned 9 months old. Becoming a parent has been a very unusual experience for me, so I thought I should write about it. Alan using the computer with dad. We got him a training keyboard, because otherwise he gets too interested in the flashing lights on my keyboard and starts mashing buttons. Alan seeing the lights at Filoli with mom. I find Alan to be very cute. I've told my wife a number of times that he's objectively cuter than other babies that we see and she has told me she thinks I'm a tiger dad. It is true that it is hard to be objective with things like this. A
