The Cybernetic Forest Synthesizer How to Write Music With An Eagle and Three Satellites Birds don’t care about our symphonies. The Cybernetic Forest Synthesizer is the result of an investigation into communication between animals and machines. It’s a program, written in Python, that translates interactions between birds and GPS sensors into music. Along the way, it inspired a lot of thinking about the limits of encoding the natural world as digital information.
