In January 2024, I started working full-time as a forward-deployed engineer (FDE) at Baseten. Baseten enables customers to deploy and run inference on cutting-edge generative AI models. My role as an FDE is to work with customers to deliver cutting-edge ML solutions at scale using Baseten. In the past 6 months, I've learned a lot about the kinds of challenges customers face when deploying generative AI for production use cases.
