A take that I hold now, somewhat strongly, is that I do not persuade people to do AI safety. I generally try not to "pill" them on AGI. That's not to say I don't talk about AI, or my work. Just that I (try to) never convince or change their mind.

I believe AI will be the greatest technological revolution we see in my lifetime, and perhaps all human history. Nat would argue that holding onto this is selfish. You know a bit of information that, if you're right, could help people you care about make better career decisions
