Initially, I was a little apprehensive about doing this because I didn’t want to “waste” several months, but I’m very glad I did it. If you’re in a position where you’re able or fortunate enough to be able to do this (and it’s cheaper than you think it is, more on this below!), I would highly recommend it! Personally, I have no dependents, had made a bit of money throughout college from work, and knew that a large gap of uninterrupted time when you start working is rare, so I thought why not.
