  • A prototype works in a controlled setting with limited functionality (low reproducibility, limited use, etc.) - but demonstrates the functionality of the key feature/s. An MVP works in the desired environment with all promised functionality (there might be a few exceptions here). A “desired environment” means in the setting in which the customer will use your product. A final product not only works in a desired environment, but it is also massively scalable.
