Spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage: Acute treatment and prognosis - UpToDatealthough selected antihypertensive drug classes are more beneficial than others in patients with certain comorbidities, the clinical benefit of antihypertensive drug therapy in the majority of patients is linked to the magnitude of blood pressure lowering, rather than the choice of drug.
Choice of drug therapy in primary (essential) hypertension - UpToDatethe intensity (eg, number and doses) of antihypertensive drug therapy has been recognized as being more important for preventing cardiovascular disease than the choice of which specific drug to use initially.
Choice of drug therapy in primary (essential) hypertension - UpToDateselected focal neuronal loss and gliosis in the hippocampus, predominantly affecting CA1, CA3, and the dentate granule cell layer.
Resective and ablative surgical treatment of epilepsy in adults - UpToDateppocampal sclerosis (FCDIIIa), tumor (FCDIIIb), vascular malformation (FCDIIIc), or a lesion acquired during early life, such as a stroke (FCDIIId).

Automatic bundle-specific white matter fiber tracking tool using diffusion tensor imaging data: A pilot trial in the application of language-related glioma resection - PubMedDiffusion tensor imaging has been shown to assist with increased sensitivity and improved identification of pathology earlier in its process.
Diffusion Tensor Imaging - StatPearls - NCBI BookshelfBy capturing the direction and magnitude of water diffusion, DTI enables the visualization of neural pathways and connectivity, making it an indispensable tool for understanding brain anatomy, function, and pathology
Diffusion Tensor Imaging - StatPearls - NCBI BookshelfNovel tracking technology, such as DTI, can objectively reveal and visualize three-dimensional white matter trajectories

Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy - UpToDateThe age of onset of LGMD varies from early childhood to adulthood [5]. Most childhood-onset cases have a pelvifemoral distribution of weakness. By comparison, adult-onset disease usually involves both shoulder and pelvic girdles with gradually increasing proximal limb weakness, thereby leading to restriction of mobility and eventually to wheelchair confinement.
Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy - UpToDateLGMD are progressive weakness and muscle atrophy mainly involving the shoulder girdle (scapulohumeral type), the pelvic girdle (pelvifemoral type), or both
