There's plenty in open-source. The main motivations for us were: - Cloud agents. Huge productivity unlock vs local/CLI based agents. This is now table stakes, but was less so when we started building Pinecone. - For everyone. Sales, finance, marketing, HR, etc all use Pinecone. We built a UI that's accessible to all teams and artifacts beyond coding (docs, slides, etc.) - Preview builds. Pinecone can run a baby version of Sierra to test its work end-to-end.
