While my creativity has been on a good streak since we’ve been back in Montana, I’ve felt confined to the house. I don’t have my driver’s license… but that’s not something that’s new — as a city dweller for most of my life, I’ve never learned how to drive. My husband (Caleb) runs the errands and, 90% of the time, I stay at home so that he can get in & out without me lallygagging around the ice cream aisle. I can literally go weeks without leaving the ranch. Sometimes I start to feel like Belle in Beauty and the Beast, except, like, I’m not being actively held captive — I just can’t drive a car! So, I booked a quick trip to NYC to shake off this literally physically stuck feeling.
