summercamp recap
A weekend upstate we planned at a children's summer camp with 167 friends (and friends-of-friends, and friends-of-friends-of-friends). Over three days, we ran 53 activities that turned a group of loose connections into a community. Three of them are our roommates in NYC, all of them are fantastic executors and community builders in their own right: between us, we've founded coffee shops, hosted 1000+ person movie nights, hosted weekly dinner parties, and run 100-person Shabbats, for fun. A year ago, nearing graduation, Lucy turned to Annie and said, "let's live together in New York and throw parties all the time and let's host all our friends at a massive summer camp."
