In “Tea at the Treedome,” the third minisode in the pilot of SpongeBob SquarePants, SpongeBob visits Sandy Cheeks’ home. You probably remember how this goes. Sandy, being a squirrel, breathes air; SpongeBob, being a sea sponge, does not. He immediately begins to suffocate.
