So far, it has always felt like the year ended with summer. Fireworks in the late december sky were a visually captivating ( yet natural-life-disturbing!!!!) ritual, happening at a seemingly random moment in time. This year, however, time truly does feel like it is coming to an end, or maybe more like a snake slowly approaching the moment of biting her own tail: The season of the ouroboros, the year of the snake, seems to be reaching its peak. I am unconsciously using these days to let introspection become so intense that my head starts hurting - and then (very important part! crucial, even) I put on my favorite music and shake it all off. Ha! I meet a friend, light candles, and we pull our tarot and oracle cards. We interpret them, then read about their meanings: Our paths seem interwoven, and so does the way the cards speak about our futures.
