This week’s new music Friday — the period when singles drop at midnight on Thursday — included a new collaboration between Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Lil Wayne, another genre-bending single from Disney sensation Olivia Rodrigo, and an allegedly disappointing album from J. Cole. Somehow, the most interesting track didn’t come from any of these guaranteed chart-toppers.
