SOCRATIC LEARNING sucks! I have been using Claude's /learn skill, and I noticed something. Ask almost any AI to tutor you, and it immediately reaches for the Socratic method: questions from turn one. "What do you think happens if we remove this?" That's a wonderful technique when you already have something to think with. When you don't, it feels like you're being asked about something you don't have the foundation to understand, so you end up guessing. You get corrected, guess again, and the mental model you build is assembled from the wreckage of your own wrong guesses.
