an ode to breakfast
one morning, my boyfriend said that he wakes up every day genuinely excited about ‘building the future of ZK’ (what his startup does). my immediate thought response was that i wake up every morning excited to eat greek yogurt. this thought began to hijack the rest of my day. should i have some goal or mission that i was actively excited to wake up to pursue? does the fact that i don’t mean that i am not properly passionate about anything? am i that intellectually starved that the only thing that motivates me to turn on my brain is for fermented milk? my greek yogurt addiction had…
