People say “God Bless America.” As I see it, He already has. About 10 years ago I started this list. It was at a friend’s birthday. At the time, in 2016, it was in vogue for people to predict that another superpower would soon overtake the USA. One of my smart friends took that position. I don’t like arguing, but when I have high conviction about something, I feel an obligation to voice my view. For the next two hours I had to explain why I thought the USA would stay on top.
