Moving from ancestral Tovaangar lands to modern Chinatown, I’m California Blooming explores how botanical identity is extracted and commodified. A Risograph-printed zine on art, labor, and the everyday act of making. Through reflections on commodity fetishism, generative AI, and handmade publishing, it argues that creation is an embodied practice—one that leaves traces on both the work and its maker.
